Why the Give a Sheet® for the Planet Event is Important for Sustainability
Textile waste is a growing issue in Australia, with millions of tonnes ending up in landfills each year.
These materials take decades to break down, releasing harmful chemicals in the process.
The Give a Sheet® for the Planet event helps combat this by ensuring old linens are recycled into new products like cellulose and rPET, reducing the need for virgin resources and supporting a sustainable, circular economy.
By attending this event, you’ll make a direct contribution to reducing textile waste and help foster a greener future.
